Pump Installation

Sizing

Water level, yield, casing size, and average expected usage are the key factors that determine how we size a pump. We always try to size a pump so that you can get the greatest life from it. That might mean going smaller or larger than initially expected. We can only estimate pump size until we have the above factors.

Longevity

If properly sized, a submersible water pump can last eight to twelve years. They are typically low maintenance and very reliable. However, electrical issues and frequent start-stops reduce the life of the pump and motor. Also, we always recommend building a pump house to protect your investment. (We’re happy to give recommendations on this matter.) If the pump fails prematurely, and it is a manufacturer defect that occurs within the warranty period, we always do our best to honor that.
