Pixie’s Policies
Privacy policy.
When you employ our business for service, we will collect some personal information from you. This includes your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, billing address, physical address, and ag/timber numbers. We do not store any payment information without your consent, and we do not share any information that we collect.
Payment policy.
A deposit is not needed, unless if a special order is placed for an item that we do not usually stock. Payment is expected upon completion of the work. We accept cash, check or credit card in person. You can also mail us a check or pay by credit card or ACH online via the electronic invoice you receive. There is no surcharge or convenience fee for any method. However, all returned checks will incur a $50 fee.
Refunds & returns policy.
All charges for permanently installed work (i.e., water wells), service calls, and labor are non-refundable. Purchased goods may only be returned for full refund within one week of pickup/delivery if unopened and/or unused. Purchased goods that have been opened and/or used may be returned for a partial refund at the company’s discretion.
Terms & conditions.
If you employ another contractor to work on a water well or water treatment system that we installed, this will void your warranty. We do not warranty work that we did not install. We offer recommendations to extend the life of your water well and/or water treatment system, including but not limited to building a pump house, freeze protection, and proper cleaning and maintenance. We are not liable for any damages caused by not following these recommendations.
We do not guarantee water quality. When drilling a water well, we are simply finding the water in the ground, not making it. When treating water quality issues, we do our best to provide clean, safe drinking water, but we do not guarantee perfect water.
We cannot make a water well if there is no water to be found. On rare occasions, we may drill and never find water. In such cases, we still incur costs as part of the drilling process and will charge a dry hole fee based on time, labor, and materials.
